Competition: Capture the Color

Enter the MATC Photography Club Photo Competition!

The competition: Capture the Color!

Now that fall is here and all the leaves are changing colors, it’s the perfect time to capture the change of color. But you don’t have to just photograph leaves, it can be anything colorful. Think more conceptual. Think outside the box.

Rules: You must take the photograph between October 8th and October 15th. It must be uploaded to the MATC Photography Club blogspot by October 15th.

www.matcphotographyclub.blogspot.com

Check out the photos on October 16th and vote for your top three photos.

The top three winners will have their photos displayed in the display case on the 5th floor of the Main Building of the downtown MATC campus.

The most important rule is to have fun!

Officially apart of the Club

Congratulations to us! We are officially a club at MATC!

Last Friday, Leo, Ashley and I went to the school Senate meeting and presented our case. We were accepted as a club!

We already have a few things in the works.

First of all, I've mentioned our Linked In event in November, which we can discuss at the next meeting in more detail. I'd also like to discuss the opportunity to present art work to display in Academic Service classrooms on all four campuses. I'll work on finding out more information before the next meeting to let everyone know about it.

Just a reminder that this website is a place for everyone to share about their love of photography, cool links, and your own photography.

See you at the next meeting!

Fall Colors

As the leaves begin to change colors, I thought it might be a fun trip to head out to Holy Hill to photograph. Is anyone interested in going? I was thinking of going this Sunday afternoon, October 5th around 2 pm. Let me know if you're interested in carpooling out there or just meeting there! I'd love to photograph with others!
